freeCodeCamp Updated Responsive Web Design Course!!!
After taking a few months off for some freelance work, I went back to do a little refresher on freeCodeCamp. I was surprised to find that they have an updated version of the Responsive Web Design certificate course. What?! It's so much better. I can't believe how much better it is. There are some issues, but, wow.

The new and improved Responsive Web Design course does a better job of explaining things. I still find myself keeping two tabs open, so I can look back at previous steps and explanations. Sometimes the wording of instructions don't make it totally clear what they are asking for. It still seems like it's written for someone who already has an understanding of HTML and CSS.
One of the biggest differences is that there are a lot of new, tasks to learn through and understand different aspects of building different projects. There are a lot more, also. The other thing they really did right was that things are broken up in a more logical order. After doing some of the new projects, I can see that they tried to fit too many new concepts into one activity. This can lead to confusion.
I'm about a third of the way through the new material. All of my projects are still counted from doing the certification the first time. But with a better understanding, I will probably redo some of the projects. The tribute, my first project, is the most likely to get an overhaul. I might write about that. I can see how messy my coding has been. But that's what happens when you are learning, right?
I'd love to hear other people's experiences with the new material. Especially those that are total noobs.
